Specifications
Olaf Pattern 902 is for a free formed Bell with a heart design on it. Size 9 Toho, Japanese seed beads also known as Olaf beads. When quantities are stated on a pattern, Olaf packaged in 5 grams, Polly’s Beads sell in 10 gram packets.
Lace weaving method of beading has been used in this project.
To help the bell stay in a good shape stiffen with PVA white glue. 2 dessert spoons glue, 1 dessert spoon water, mix well together, then soak the beadwork in the solution till the cotton is saturated. Wipe the surface of the beads with a damp cloth to bring back the gloss of the beads. Shape the beadwork out to a nice bell shape and let dry. If you have a bell shape place the beadwork over the shape which is covered in glad wrap.
Hand Quilting thread has been used for this project along with a Crewel 10 beading needle.
Although in the picture it shows a lot of the patterns available, the number on the top right hand side of the header and the X marks the instructions included in the packet
