These beads are known under several names: Size 9 Japanese Seed beads (JP9s), Toho Beads, and Olaf beads.
These beads are sized using the Imperial method: there are 9 beads to an inch.
We use these beads extensively in Bead Weaving methods, such as Peyote Stitch, Brick Stitch, Lace Weaving, Box Stitch, Etc.
Every effort has been made to capture the colour of these beads accurately; however, there may be a small difference between what you see on your screen and what you receive. No beads are guaranteed to be colourfast, and colours can change in each batch or dye lot.
Using a beading needle it is possible to take a double thread through these beads several times.
The threads that can be used in these beads are Nymo” D”, Fireline, YLI Hand Quilting Thread, and Bead Thread
